On 9 October 2026, Bragança Polytechnic University will host the IWAM 2026 — International Workshop on Additive Manufacturing and Sustainability in a hybrid format, allowing participants to attend either in person in Bragança or online.

Abstract submissions are now open for the presentation of scientific or technical work in the fields of additive manufacturing, sustainability, materials, manufacturing processes, circular economy, natural fibres, bio-based materials, education, and other related topics.

This initiative is particularly suitable for presenting final Bachelor’s and Master’s degree projects, as well as research projects, technological development projects, educational experiences, and work carried out in collaboration with companies.

Participation and submission are free of charge. Accepted and presented abstracts will be included in the IWAM Book of Abstracts. Authors will also have the opportunity to submit a full paper for publication in the Book of Proceedings.

Abstracts must be written in English, be one page in length, and follow the official template. Submissions should be sent by email to iwam@unipb.pt.
