Research Groups are functional units of researchers with a dynamic structure, whose activities focus on specific issues and methodological approaches related to highly specialised topics. 

Currently, there are two research groups at UPB: the Graça Morais – Mountain Arts Laboratory (LAM–GM) and GICoS – Sustainable Construction Research Group.
